Lindsay, the founder of Secrets of a Small Business, was interested in a clean, modern and simple design with neutral tones; keeping the same look and feel as her website and social media.
As a mentor she thrives to use story marketing to elevate small businesses in a effective and memorable way. As a business owner she wants to connect with her audience, build a strong relationship and let their voice be heard. The brand's logo conveyed a story by using custom illustration and beautiful typography.
The inspiration of the logo came from the book The Secret Garden. The creative direction came together organically by using symbolism to tell the brand's story. It was important to use custom illustrations like the key, feather and plants to signify "secrets" and "strength, growth and beauty."
